Canflexographics Ltd.'s President, Kelly Roberts, has been with the corporation for almost ten years, and has played a key role in supplier recruitment, new product research, and selection of key industry partners. Kelly's extensive education and experience in the flexographic field enables him to provide practical knowledge, and insight within all areas of flexography to his clients.

- Speaker at the World Class Flexo Conference in 2006 on the topic of the Environmental Situation in Canada.

- Speaker at both the 2001 Flexographic Technical Association Forum, in the Environmental session, and the 2005 FTA Forum in the Carton session.

- 7 years teaching at the George Brown Flexopress Wise course, working with industry professionals on the topic of Printing by the Numbers.

- Guest speaker at the Flexographic Technical Associations FIRST Program in June of 2002.

- Guest speaker at the 3rd Annual Flexo Canada Conference on the topic of New Anilox Roll Technologies.

Kelly was named Chairman for the Technical Innovation of the Year award for 2005, 2006 and 2007 as well as FTA judge for Print Excellence in 2003 and 2004.

Kelly feels it is critical to give back to our industry and regularly volunteers time with the Flexographic Night School Program in the City of Toronto, and is very active in supporting the Flexo in High School Programs at Gordon Graydon Secondary School in Mississauga, and Winnipegs Technical College.

Kellys key strengths include his ability to work with clients to identify their key printing needs and to develop and facilitate a dynamic, results oriented plan for success. As a meeting facilitator, Kellys warmth, sense of humour and keen awareness of his clients diverse needs create an exceptional environment for learning.

 

Ron Schroder brings more than thirty-four years of flexographic experience to Canflexographics having previously held positions in sales, marketing and technical service with a well know national distributor. As an avid advocate of flexographic education, he as been actively involved with the FTA for more than twenty-five years and is currently Chairman of the Canadian Flexographic Training Committee (CFTC). A frequent presenter/facilitator at numerous industry and customer training seminars, Ron was awarded the FTA’s “President’s Award” in 2000 for his work on the Flexsys Computer Simulator project. Additionally he has had published both a regular column and numerous articles in the industry’s domestic trade magazines. His more than twenty years in technical service coupled with two three year terms as an FTA Excellence in Flexography Awards, Level of Execution judge allows him to bring a unique blend of experience and knowledge to Canflexographics’ customers.

Ron lives in Grimsby ON with his wife of many years, Robin. His passion for both history and the print industry has led him to a Directorship of the Mackenzie Printery & Newspaper Museum in Queenston ON. A creative woodworker and mechanic, Ron also indulges his passion for the game of Snooker in his spare time.

Pascal Ross has been employed in the field of flexography for his entire career, holding positions from technical designer to mechanical designer. This valuable experience has allowed him the opportunity to learn all aspects of printing equipment and their peripherals. Pascal has also earned his diploma in Mechanical Engineering, which assists him in product research and critical problem solving.

Pascals in depth knowledge of the industry, commitment to representing superior products and expert client relation skills are in perfect alignment with the vision and corporate goals of Canflexographics Ltd.
